I have just finished Krissy's 2nd November Sketch Challenge over at Wicked Princesses Forum. I have used the Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 range.... and oh boy, I am loving this range! I seem to be heading towards more muted colours lately, not so much brights at all.... Must have something to do with old age hee hee
The layout is of a gorgeous girl called Katie, who is one of our good friends from Withcott that we go water skiing with every summer.
So here it is!
I used a Fiskars 'postage stamp' border punch on the photo for something different, I really like the effect that it gave.
We are heading away on the motorbike this afternoon and I havent packed a thing, so I had best finish up and do that before I have to pick the girls up from school this afternoon!
Thanks for dropping by and have a scrappy weekend

wow... what a day!
My day started at 5am with the alarm blaring telling me to get out of bed and go and do my first PT session, I was a bit scared really at what he was going to do to me lol... But it was GREAT! we did some warm ups on the bike, rowing machine, treadmill and the step. And then I got really scared as he have us some boxing gloves and pointed us to the direction of the punching bags..... That was awesome, poor Vicki was worried I was going to miss the bag and get her lol. And then we did some push ups (Omg didnt he realise that I am TOP heavy???lol) and then some sit ups. By then it was nearly time to go home... a few stretches and we were out of there! We are going to do it twice a week, roll on Tuesday, I cant wait! (and i say that now, i might feel differntly when I wake up in the morning hee hee)
And then off to work I went, we were quite busy so my work day didnt end until 4 instead of 2... and then I came home to a couple of happy parcels... One was from Peta at Scrapbooking From Scratch with a kit and some Alphas (cause I dont have anywhere near enough bahahahahahah) And the second one had these in it
ok, now some real scrapping!
Yesterday I played along with one of Krissy's sketches over at Wicked Princesses, she has a new one every week, here is the Layout I did for the first sketch for November
I really loved how this one turned out, that punch that I got from Scrapbooking from Scratch Retreat is getting a huge workout lately

New Start!!
Well, today is the day of my new start... I have put so much weight on this year through no excercise, drinking too much and crap eating habits, The real shock was my doctors appointment last week when I was weighed and measured and the doctor told me my BMI was too high and I was well and truly into the overweight catergory... So I set a challenge to myself to start back swimming and walking and today is the day! as soon as the girls get on the bus and I put the last load of washing on the line I am off to the pool and then go for a half and hour walk before my appointment at 10......
I have even shouted myself some new runners as my otherones were quiet old and not very comfortable... I love ASICS!
and I pulled out the kick board that I bought last year and removed the plastic (*hiding in shame*) and my swimmers still fit! yahoo! i didnt want to buy another pair as these have hardly been worn.
ok... off to the clothes line and then to the pool!
have a great day

Kraft It Up
I hope everyone has a great weekend! I spent a couple of hours at my LSS with a couple of friends that I used to scrap with years ago.. It was lovely to catch up with everyone... I only managed one and a half LO as I had to leave to go to Kirsten's Squash Presentation night :( but I am sure there will be others!
This is a LO that I started yesterday for the Kraft It Up Challenge for this month .... the criteria was
This month at Kraft It Up we are on the look out for some funky and inspirational ways to jazz up your pages using Decorative Edges….
So we need you to use KRAFT and some way to add DECORATIVE EDGES to your layout….
Think punches, scissors, diecut strips (Sass Lass papers are a good example of these) Diecut papers, specialty ribbons (pom poms) and crocheted trims just to name a few.
I didnt need any encouragement with this one... I have have a HUGE collection of edge punches (do many that i NEED to work out a better way to store them... any ideas???)
ok, here is the LO that I have done for the challenge
