Dear Lizzy - Day Dreamer

Hi! I am back again, twice in one week :O

I was so excited when I arrived at the Scrap Girls Retreat with Peta earlier in the month to find my March DT kit, AC Dear Lizzy 'Daydreamer' this kit is so girly! Just my style!

Isn't it gorgeous???

I managed to get 8 layouts out this kit, and I still have some left over for more! Great value for only $30 hey?

The first 3 layouts are using what was in the kit only.

There are lots of additional embellishments that go with this kit, I just have to have some of them.

bad, bad, bad blogger!

I can't believe it has been 5 months since I blogged last!

I hadn't thought I had done much scrapping this year until I photographed them all and edited them this afternoon.  

I have had some amazing DT kits from the lovely Peta at Scrapbooking From Scratch

I am going to show you the gorgeous Studio Calico - Story Time BOY 

kit that I got last month. I did notice that there was a couple left in the store when I was in SFS HQ last week.

This range is just perfect for my new little nephew Lachlan. Thanks Peta!

cut and paste

Last month Peta sent me the new My Minds Eye 'Cut and Paste' designer kit  from the SFS shop.

I loved it immediately, the colours we soft and girly. Perfect for me :) AND it is only $15! AND I have made 4 layouts and have only scraps left.

I used this kit for my sketch challenge for this month too.

I have added some Mambi Clear Stickers in some of the layouts as well, they come in both black and white and are great for titles or embellishments.

my september challenge for sfs

Spring is here! This is my favourite season of the year, beautiful days and cool nights. Perfect hey?

Life is still hectic with working 5 days a week and running a household with two teenage girls who are very sociable. And that doesn't leave much time for scrapping sadly. But I have two retreats coming up and that will give me time to do heaps.

I do have a share for you today though. My colour challenge for SFS. I love this 'Cut and Paste' kit from My Minds Eye.

All of our challenges are now on the SFS blog as sadly we are closing the forum down.

new goodies to play with

I was so excited when I opened a parcel from Peta last week when I saw that she sent me some Gelatos!

 

I knew instantly that I had to use them for this months step by step. 

 

After lots of trolling through YouTube I found HEAPS of tutorials to show me how to use them.

 

 I love the gorgeous range of colours!

i have been a busy girl!

For the last two months I have been working full time. Which doesn't leave much time for anything else. BUT I have managed to do a bit of scrapping. 

Last month Peta sent me the gorgeous Fancy Pants 'Memories Captured' Collections kit.

To say I loved it was an understatement. I managed to get 7 layouts done and some still left over! You may have already seen one of them in my What's on Wednesday on the SFS blog
