getting the gist of it.....

I was lucky enough last weekend to spend the weekend in Brisbane with some gorgeous girls. We went to the PaperArts Festival where my beautiful Friend Giovanna Scott was teaching a mixed media canvas class. I was looking forward to playing with paint, glue and paper. And I wasn't disappointed! She has an amazing way of teaching that makes you feel that you can achieve anything that you put your mind too. I got most of my canvas completed apart from putting the quote on which was quite amazing really as I had been confined to the couch because of a sore back just days before.... there wasn't a chance of me missing out on this one!


My daughter Amanda is going to one of her besties birthday parties on Friday night and she asked if she could give the canvas to her for her present.. hence the quote I have chosen to use.

So, because I have to give the first one away I thought I would have a little play with another one. It has taken me all week because of my back, but I love it! I am sure that this one will disappear into one of the girls rooms pretty quickly LOL
