look what i bought myself!

yep! a cricut expression!

and I bought this to go with it!

it's a 'sure cuts alot' program otherwise known as SCAL. It means that I can cut much more with my cricut than just what the cartridges do... any font that you can download from the net.. and you can also create your own files using the 'inkscape' program that you can download free from the internet.

My gorgeous friend Tina has taught me so much about what this can do...thanks hun!

I have been pretty slack hey lol... I havent even posted any LO's from the retreat at the gold coast here are some photos from the weekend

just a quick post...

at the retreat on the weekend Lisa challenged me to do a vintage LO..... I spent hours and a few bourbons cutting out the green underlay... I did it because Lisa was having a go about me not doing any cutting out lol.... i left it on her table with a note and when I got up the next morning it was back on mine lol... she kept throwing me vintage stuff across the table for the rest of the retreat and told me see wanted to see a LO with it all! So here it is Lisa!!!

Over at scrapbook Savvy we are doing a 52 weeks of me challenge. we have do a LO a week about our life... I have been a bit slow at starting, but I have just about caught up... I have the photos, now I just have to create!

here they are:

I am doing this 8.5x11.  I have only ever done 12x12 and I am really enjoying doing something a wee bit different!

I am off to a retreat on Thursday with the The Challenge Chicks which is a challenge site.. these ladies are awesome! I am so excited! can you tell lol! so, because all of my scrap gear is mostly packed I will not be doing any scrapping until i get there! And then I will have HEAPS of LO and photos to share!

I have done some Savvy Challenges for this month as well! here they are!

this LO was for Sara's Kit Challenge... The Scrapbook Savvy girls have made some absolutely awesome kits for this month... this is from the she's savvy kit....which SOLD OUT on the first day! they also have a He's Savvy kit and a We're Savvy kit! you can find them HERE

- Shaped journaling block (circle etc, anything but straight lines)

A big LO share!

wow, it has been a while since I posted.... I have been busy catching up around the house and garden after our holidays!
I have had a huge week scrapping too! Sar and the Savvy girls held a CC on the weekend and they had some awesome challenges.. you can find them here!

I managed to get all the challenges done... that would be a first for me! here they are....
This one is for Emmas CC challenge... it had to be on something what we love but not our significant other or children..so what else what I would I do it on lol

this one was for Sara's CC sketch challenge, we had to do a LO on something that we love but not using hearts and it couldnt be on our significant other either, so other one of my loves ;)

this on is for Kerryn's challenge, we had to use these puzzle pieces

here it is! I used a sketch that my beautiful friend Emma created xx thanks hun!

and this one is Anthea's challenge... we had to use the words "Life is like a box of Chocolates, You never know what your gonna' get" and we had to use the colour combo of Choc Mint - Brown and Green OR Choc Strawberry - Brown and Red/Pink

there was also a blind scrap with Sar on Saturday night, I have never done one live before.. i had a blast.. you can find it here!

I am not going to share this LO yet.. that will give you all a chance to do it and not see mine.  We have until midnight on Thursday to upload these to the gallery!
